HHR – Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions regulate the promotion and sale of tourist offers on the holidayhome-rome.it site (the Internet site) managed by the Marco Polo Italia Association.
“Service”: the online booking system of holidayhome-rome.it, through which users can book and buy tourist accommodation in Rome.
“Prices”: the prices shown are inclusive of VAT.
“Booking” and “Purchase”: To purchase one or more services, you must follow the booking process by filling out the relevant information on the Forms and by sending them electronically to the Marco Polo Italia Association, through the Website. By drafting a booking with holidayhome-rome.com, or by finalizing the purchase, you declare that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of the holidayhome-rome.com service.
“Processing the Purchase Process”: After finalizing the purchase, holidayhome-rome.it will send a confirmation email for the purchased offer. The invoice will be sent later by email.
“Personal Data”: For any information regarding the processing of personal data of users, please refer to the Privacy Policy section.

1. Users

1.1 The Service can only be offered to consumers, as defined in Legislative Decree 206/2005, or individuals acting for purposes not related to their work or profession and to adult persons, as established from the laws of the countries of origin of the users.

2. Service Information

2.1 The information on the proposed Service is available on the descriptive descriptions of individual flats, available at holidayhome-rome.com. These are also indicated on the price of the Service, in euros and inclusive of VAT. Please let us know that all price information is correct before proceeding with booking and purchase.

2.2 According to article 7-ter of Italian Legislative Decree No. 633/72, VAT will be applied to both citizens resident in Italy and residents resident abroad.

2.3 By finalizing the purchase of a Service, you agree to its Terms of Service, including Seller’s Cancellation Conditions and any other conditions that you have applied to the Single Offer. The User agrees to observe the day and time selected for the use of the Service and to go to the meeting point indicated by the Supplier. No refunds are guaranteed in case of no submission or delay. In case the User wishes to cancel the reservation made, please note that these may be required to pay a share equal to or inferior to the cost of the service, as determined by the Supplier’s Cancellation Policy. Please read carefully the cancellation conditions in the descriptive descriptions of tourist offers.

3. Booking & Purchase

3.1 To process a reservation or purchase on holidayhome-rome.com, you must select the service of your interest and complete the online procedure with the relevant Booking and Purchase Form, which constitutes a proposal contractual.

3.2 In order to finalize the booking and purchase of available Services on holidayhome-rome.com, the user must provide his / her data verifying the authenticity of the same.

3.3 By ending a reservation or purchase by filling out the relevant Form, you agree unconditionally to the terms and conditions of the service.

3.4 The Form will be kept in the holidayhome-rome.com databases for the time it takes to process the order.

4. Payment

4.1 Before finalizing your purchase, you will be required to enter payment information.

5. Buying Conclusion

5.1 The purchase process is considered to be finalized when Marco Polo Italia electronically receives the Form compiled by the User and the information on this entered is verified and is correct. The contract between Marco Polo Italia and the consumer is valid from the time the payment authorized through the Website is executed – in case of payment on arrival, from the time the user receives the confirmation email from holidayhome- rome.it.

6. Cancellation policies

6.1 Guest can cancel the reservation free of charge until 15 days before arrival. After this deadline, in case of cancellation guest is required to pay the full amount due.

6.2 In case of no-show, guest is required to pay the full amount due.

7. Privacy

7.1 The personal information of the users is processed by Marco Polo Italia to provide the service offered through holidayhome-rome.it. As soon as you purchase a Service on holidayhome-rome.it from your consent to receive the holidayhome-rome.it newsletter, with upgrades on Services similar to the one purchased.

8. Adjustments to the Terms and Conditions

8.1 Terms and Conditions of Service can be adjusted at any time, following changes to applicable laws, new rules or regulations, or other reasons. New versions of the Terms and Conditions of Service are to be considered effective as of the date of publication on holidayhome-rome.it. Please visit this section of the website regularly to check the latest version and updates.

9. Jurisdiction

9.1 Terms and Conditions of Service are subject to Italian law and, in particular, to Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 as regards the distance contract and to D. Lgs N. 70/2003 in certain aspects related to e-commerce. Any dispute, dispute or complaint arising in connection with the Terms and Conditions of the service must be referred to and resolved by the Rome Tribunal.
